A 2 day caching/snowshoeing trip to Fredericton area finished it off. We have placed 33 caches on the Bouctouche trails since the Holidays and 6 of them counted for shots. PAul

I must say I am having a really tough time doing this challenge this year.

If it isn't working that is taking all of my time away from me, it is mother nature putting kinks into my plans.

I have to plan about a week in advance to do any real caching seeing as I have to travel about an hour away to hit cache rich areas. I've scoped out on area that will get me from my meager 4% up to about 64%.

Good job on all of you that have completed your boards already.

The Challenge has ended! I want to thank everyone who took part in this experiment and I hope you all had fun!

The ships have been placed and you can now see how well you did by following the 'View Your Board' link after logging in.

There is still the Closing Event (coord.info/GC4449F) to come -- This Saturday March 9th at the Douglas St. Rec Centre in Truro from 2:30 until 4:30.

Cachemporium will be there selling their wares.

You can also pick up your BattleCache Challenge geocoins too!

And yes, this was so much fun that I'm going to do it all again next year!

There are 85 participant 'Captain' coins and 50 generic 'Cadet' coins. 2/3rds of them have already been reserved, but with only 4 days left there should still be some available on event day. You do not have to attend to get them. If you can't make it, I'll contact you to work out payment and delivery of your coin(s).
